To save time and money on your order, please follow these guidelines when preparing your computer generated art files. WLP uses Adobe Illustrator for all pre-press functions. We may be able to use other formats, but additional charges may apply. Please read and follow all the instructions to ensure trouble-free, timely production of your order.

  • Digital artwork can be supplied to WLP in the following methods:


  • File Format: Please provide files in Illustrator AI format (through version CS3) and ensure that all included graphics files linked are in EPS or TIF format. Please DO NOT send files from page layout programs - they are NOT acceptable for our pre-press process.

    • Convert all text to outlines.
    • Supply all linked and placed files (should be .eps or .tif format).
    • Files compressed using StuffIt (Mac) or WinZip (PC) are acceptable. We prefer self-extracting if possible.
    • Use only Pantone® colors for process or spot colors.
    • Please provide us with a color hard copy.
    • ALL colors must be CMYK (we can't be responsible for color changes due to conversion).
    • Please allow a one-eighth inch bleed on all artwork except packaging jobs.
    • For packaging jobs on clear material, you need a seperate overprint layer. This layer must be created in Illustrator and be the top layer, set to overprint. The color must be ONLY 25% Cyan and named 5Indigo (exactly) in order for our press to recognize it as white.

  • For Lenticular Artwork: Artwork must be submitted in Photoshop PSD format (through version 7) on seperate layers and resolution must be 797.9 DPI.
