- Digital printing is an electronic method allowing small quantities to be printed directly from computer files. It requires no negatives, prepress, separations, plates or cylinders commonly used in traditional print methods.
- Printing is four color process with white as a spot color. White is used on clear films to make images more opaque.
- WLP uses two HP Indigo WS2000 web-fed digital offset presses. Each press has the following:
Image Size: 12.1” x 17.2” (308mm x 437mm)
Print Resolution: 800 x 2400 dpi
High Definition Imaging: 175 lpi screen ruling
Web Width: 13” maximum (330mm)
Web Length: 18” per print cycle / revolution
Material Thickness: 1 mil to 14 mil
- All proofs are produced on actual production material.
- WLP’s packaging professionals are capable of producing a variety of packaging products ranging from small candy wrappers, medium sized pouches and large bread bags to shrink sleeves. We use equipment ranging from hand crimpers to fully automated machinery. Our services include laminating, seaming, cutting, fin sealing, crimping, forming, filling or applying shrink sleeves to generate completed products.
