Smart Label Data Requirements

• Text file format (fixed record length)
• All fields in the record must be a fixed length
• A record layout showing the positioning of each field should accompany order
• For each record listed, one label will be printed
• All files should be sorted in the order that the labels are to be printed
• Only the information that is to appear on the label should be in the file
• A layout of the label should accompany the order. This layout will show where each field should be positioned on the label
