Tape and Reel Labels |
|
Overview:
Tape and Reel labels for the printed circuit board manufacturing industry allows labels to be automatically applied from a "pick and place" station in the same manner that other components are loaded on a printed circuit board. Labels can be supplied on cassettes that can be mounted directly onto component feeders for high-speed application. Labels can be applied with the same efficiency as other board components minimizing or eliminating equipment and labor cost.
Features:
The same line or sprocket holes which pull tape and reel component carriers are punched into the side of the Watson Label Products' label liner. These holes are punched in registration with the bar code label or electronic insulation and shielding so they arrive in the vacuum head at the required orientation. In the tape and reel configuration, bar codes are very small and take up little real estate on a board.
